Relationship with Food & Eating

This course aims to promote awareness and understanding of our society, culture, and personal perspectives related to food, eating, and body image. Through curated information and engaging activities, the goal is to unravel common misconceptions, allowing participants to recognize and address their flawed and potentially harmful beliefs concerning their connection with food, eating habits, and their consequential impact on mental, physical well-being, and overall life. The course delves into the exploration of food myths, advocates for the advantages of intuitive and mindful eating, and encourages a deeper introspection into the essence of ourselves as eaters.

Body Image Dissatisfaction
"Don't let your mind bully your body
Throughout this course, our aim is to cultivate awareness regarding the detrimental and misguided thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors that many of us harbor concerning our bodies, and to illuminate the potential impact these may have on our mental and physical well-being.
The pursuit of an idealized body image often leads to persistent feelings of suffering and dissatisfaction, always seeking ways for improvement. This mindset significantly shapes our behavior and overall well-being, contributing to adverse effects on both mental and physical health.

Our mindset directly affects our lives mentally and physically. Mental health struggles are rising and many are silent and destructive.
We can not have a healthy body without having a healthy mindset.
Our thoughts, feelings and beliefs are very powerful and without knowledge and awareness, are often sabotaging our own happiness, success and health
During this course we hope to help you understand in simple terms more about the brain and nervous system and how you can take back control so that you can start to shift your own mindset
